Trying to think of the first podcast I ever listened to… maybe Pardon My Take 6 years ago??

But whenever that was, I never thought I would be making a career out of podcasts.

It’s 2025, and 2024 was a big, big step in the right direction for me career wise.

Since starting my new gig at Shadow Lion back in April, I’ve had the opportunity to work on some incredibly interesting projects with a next-level talented team.

For those maybe reading this for the first time, or unfamiliar with Shadow Lion…

Here’s how I would define the business in one simple sentence: We are a full-service creative production studio for top-level athletes and consumer brands.

Other co-workers may have a different sentence, but that’s the beauty of the company. We are flexible and make things happen.

The company launched with Tom Brady as their partner and co-founder in 2017 and now create content with some of the biggest names in sports. Most importantly, content that PERFORMS in today’s challenging media landscape.

Shadow Lion is the most ideal landing spot I could’ve have imagine for myself after transitioning out of the Morning Blitz.

This blog is going to dedicated to a quick look at all the projects I have had a hand in over the last year…

The Quick Snap with David Andrews & Brian Hoyer

Hoy and DA have become close friends of mine through working on this show.

If you’re a Patriots fan and haven’t listened… c’mon brother (or sister!), subscribe.

These two trusted me from day 1 to help them build their show. The feeling out process was quick, but once that trust was built, we were off the races.

Shadow Lion also trusted me from day 1 to run with this thing from the very beginning.

It truly feels like a show of my own, and I love every second of working on this project.

I quickly realized Brian and David are just like any normal dudes, they love to chirp each other and talk football. The Quick Snap text group chat might be my #1 most active at this current moment. Sundays are fun on that chain.

We’re proud of what we’ve built and will continue to build.

The guest lists have been incredible with everyone from Gronk to Jacoby Brissett to Blake Griffin to Hunter Henry to Dante Scarnecchia to Patrice Bergeron to Kendrick Bourne.

Getting to see Hoy and DA’s unique relationship with all of these guests is special.

Just two class act dudes that are better than 99.99% of the population at football and have a fun time talking about the sport.

COACH with Bill Belichick

This is the first time I have publicly spoken about this show, but YES, I have been helping to produce Bill Belichick’s weekly NFL show with Matt Patricia and Michael Lombardi.

It was quite special growing up as a die-hard Patriots fan getting to know the GOAT on a different level than a “football coach”.

Although, he took that classic Belichick coaching attitude to the show, which I greatly appreciated.

He is undisputed greatest of all-time.

His football knowledge on this show was obviously spectacular.

He’s off to Chapel Hill now.

I’ll be cheering hard for you, Coach! Go win a Natty!

The Rest of the Fun

Going to cover some other funs shows I am less involved with but love being a part of because they are fricken awesome.

Funny that my ties to the UFC from interviewing Dana White three years ago (still one of the best days of my life)…

… have led me to working with UFC legends Kamaru Usman and Henry Cejudo on show called, “Pound 4 Pound”. Granted, there are other very talented people that are the brains of this operation, but I have had fun pitching in where I can!

Again, less of a role here, but happy to be around.

Then wrapping it up, with a beautiful bow on top… our lord and savoir on the football field and our fearless leader in the boardroom as our co-founder, Mr. Tom Brady.

We helped Tom launch and start his YouTube channel a few months back. It’s been fun to watch his transition off the field.

I had essentially zero impact on this next project, but it was very cool to be a part of being a Celtics fan and living next to the Garden pretty much. Yes, New Yorkers… THE Garden where real championship banners are raised.

Our team captured an all-access 5-part documentary of the Celtics raising Banner 18:

Those are just a few projects in my first year at Shadow Lion I have been lucky enough to work on.

The goal is to keep growing these puppies, launch some new rocket ships with some incredibly talented hosts and keep the train rolling.
